RealReady Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Next Chapter Apps (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the RealReady mobile application (the “App”). By using the App, you agree to the practices described below.
This policy applies to the RealReady mobile app. The website at realready.app is a marketing site and exam-prep resource; it does not collect any personal information beyond the standard server logs your browser sends to any website.

1. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Email address — when you create an account.
- Password — stored only in hashed form by our authentication provider; we never see or store your password directly.
- User-generated content — your quiz answers, progress, and any feedback you submit through the App.
Information collected automatically when you use the App
- A unique user ID generated by our authentication provider, used to associate your account with your data.
- Purchase history — when you purchase a premium upgrade, our purchase processor records the transaction so we can verify your entitlement.
What we do not collect
- We do not collect location data, contacts, photos, health, financial information, browsing history, search history, advertising identifiers, or analytics events.
- We do not track you across other apps or websites. Because of this, the App does not present Apple’s App Tracking Transparency permission prompt and never requests the IDFA.
- We do not sell or “share” (as defined under California law) your information to anyone.
2. How we use your information
We use the information above only to:
- Authenticate your account and let you sign in.
- Sync your study progress across devices.
- Verify your premium entitlement when you upgrade.
- Respond to feedback or support requests.
- Comply with legal obligations.
3. Third-party service providers
We use a small number of trusted service providers to operate the App. Each only receives the data needed to perform its function.

We do not share your information with any other parties.
4. Data security
All data transmitted between the App and our servers is encrypted in transit using TLS. Authentication tokens are stored on your device using the platform’s secure storage (Keychain on iOS, Keystore on Android). Passwords are hashed and never stored in plaintext.
No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
5. Your choices and rights
Access and correction
You can view and update your account information at any time from the Profile screen inside the App.
Account deletion
You can delete your account and all associated data directly from the App at Profile → Delete account. Deletion removes:
- Your authentication record (so you can no longer sign in)
- Your profile (display name, state, premium flag)
- All your quiz attempts and progress
- All feedback you’ve submitted
Local data on your device (cached progress, onboarding flags) is also wiped after the server confirms deletion.
If you cannot access the App for any reason, you may instead email us at support@nextchapterapps.com and we will delete your account on your behalf within 30 days.
Opt-out
The App does not have advertising, analytics, or marketing emails to opt out of.
6. Data retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, your authentication record, profile, quiz progress, and feedback are removed from our active database within 24 hours. Encrypted backups containing your data are overwritten on a rolling 30-day schedule, after which no copy of your data remains on our systems.
Purchase records may be retained by Apple, Google, or RevenueCat for tax, accounting, and fraud-prevention purposes regardless of whether you delete your RealReady account.
7. Children’s privacy
The App is rated 4+ and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us at support@nextchapterapps.com and we will delete it.
8. International users
The App and its servers operate in the United States. By using the App, you consent to the transfer and processing of your information in the United States, which may have data-protection laws different from those of your country.
If you are a resident of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or California, you have additional rights including the right to access, correct, port, or delete your personal data. Contact support@nextchapterapps.com to exercise these rights.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Material changes will also be communicated through the App. Your continued use of the App after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
